Our Policy Regarding Exporting Papers
As a first-line paper merchant and distributor, Woodland Paper consistently works
with paper mills from all over the globe. Our grade lines are very diverse as is
our customer base. Due to the nature of our business, our manufacturing base, and
the first-rate quality of the paper we distribute, Woodland Paper does not typically
export paper outside of the United States.
Typically, the types of papers exported from the United States are priced at extremely
low levels in order to be competitive in the countries to which they are destined.
Because of this, job-lot papers, seconds, or off-spec papers are preferred in order
to achieve this pricing structure. Woodland Paper does not represent, distribute,
or sell any job-lot papers, and does not wish to enter into this market segment.
We distribute only first-line, mill-guaranteed papers with proven runnability and
printability and compete in those markets accordingly.
If you or your company represent exporting interests, please be advised of our company's
focus and please note the following if you do wish to explore purchasing paper from
us:
- All companies wishing to receive a quotation must provide and pass credit approval
before any correspondence is given. This includes C.O.D. preferred shipments.
- Credit Approval is based upon secured and certified U.S. funds held in a U.S. banking
institution.
-
All shipments will be priced for delivery to U.S. port. Subsequently, once the paper
is delivered at the U.S. port, Woodland Paper assumes no further responsibility
or obligation.
